Recommendation Reports
Building Legislation & Compliance
Ensure your property is compliant with the latest government legislation on improving energy efficiency and minimum standards. Our in-house ESOS Lead Energy Assessors are qualified to the highest standard of energy and carbon management.
Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard (MEES)
From April 2018, landlords of privately rented non-domestic property in England and Wales must ensure their properties hold an EPC rating of at least E before granting a new tenancy to new or existing tenants.
Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)
ESOS is a mandatory energy assessment scheme for organisations in the UK that meet the qualification criteria. Organisations that qualify for ESOS must carry out assessments every 4 years. These assessments are audits of the energy used by their buildings, industrial processes and transport to identify cost-effective energy saving measures.
Qualification criteria
-
any UK company that either:
-
employs 250 or more people, or
-
has an annual turnover in excess of 50 million euro (£44,845,000), and an annual balance sheet total in excess of 43 million euro (£38,566,700)
-
-
an overseas company with UK registered establishment which has 250 or more UK employees (paying income tax in the UK)
The deadline for the second compliance period (ESOS phase 2) is 5 December 2019.

Energy Management &
Low Carbon Detailed Design
Energy Management
Our consultants can provide the framework for increasing energy efficiency in your building from lighting systems to the central plant for space conditioning. Energy management in your organisation can reduce energy use and generate annual savings on fuel costs.
Our experienced engineers will survey your property to determine areas which can be improved. Recommendations will be simulated using our dynamic modelling software and presented in a detailed report identifying cost-effective measures to improving energy efficiency.
Low Carbon Detailed Design
Detailed design research-based low carbon consultancy services to efficiently integrate and optimise building performance with energy use and occupancy comfort. We can simulate a range of complex designs for compliance, comfort and performance targets during the design process.
ABOUT
